On Thursday night, the St. Louis Cardinals irritated all other baseball fans by winning a game under controversy and helping their postseason chances. Tied 3-3 in the bottom of the 9th inning, Yadier Molina belted a line drive to left field where it took a bounce off the field and ricocheted off an ad sign.

This victory was huge for St. Louis since it keeps them alive in the NL Wild Card race with three games to go.
